Some of us really like that kind of drama, others...Not so much. Yes we can attempt to ignore it but I think a majority want to enjoy the FJ part of discussion. We have a guns section, why not one more that is not FJ related but still in the club??

You know Frank, I would do it again, but the FJ Forum allows personal attacks.

Frank's over the edge clearly, but Paddy, deleting anyone's post should be done with extreme caution.  It's a bad precedent.  Feels that way to me, anyway.  For the record, I'm not a friend of cyber-bullying either.

I like Classic History and there is a clear analogy between the Roman Empire and the US Republic. The Mediterranean sea was a interior sea in an only country with the same rights and laws for everybody with the Antoninus emperors. Yes, it was not perfect, but when the Roman Empire felt, there were 1000 years of darkness. And even now, with all of our technology, there are 42 Goverments where there was only 1, 2000 years ago.
