FJ with custom frame on eBay UK.

Looks quite well done. Wheelbase looks short and I don't get the swinging arm/shock arrangement, but interesting.

I'd like to see how that cantilever rear is done....it just looks wrong without knowing where the pivot points are!

Yea, what the hell is going on there?  Is the rear wheel/arm solid mounted?.... and, the seat/subframe sprung?

I can see 2 possible explanations on the rear shock.
1. is that the shock is anchored to the frame behind the engine and to the swingarm via bracing that is not evident in the pics.
2. that there is a rocker at the back of the engine which causes the shock to compress as the swingarm rises with the shock anchored to the subframe.

I don't like either of these possibilities, but it does allow a very short wheelbase and the bike should be a great "stuntah".  He didn't mention if the front tire was filled with He, but I bet it seems like that.

It looks like it could be similar to one of Buell's designs, where the shock operates backwards to what is normal.

I see two shocks.

The only thing FJ on this build seems to be the engine. Everything else is custom. When is an FJ no longer an FJ but a totally different beast altogether? Just wondering.
Only a motorcyclist knows why a dog sticks its head out the window of a moving car.

I also see 2 shocks.... looks like they're anchored at the subframe and being compressed from the front.  I doubt the suspension works correctly....  every expert I've ever heard says the rear suspension forces should be put into the frame and be directed to the headstock.
