Is this some politically correct way to police people?

There's no way to give it that I can see yet.  So we're all the same.

It's a neat system though.

Karma only counts if we can take it to the next existence and upgrade. The score card is really in secrete to motivate us to error on the plus side. This is a different twist with the cards face up on the table. Kind of self/other moderation. If done with honesty and integrity it should work really well. When abused by others it could go really out of hand. I would like to see how this works. As humans we tend to drive with immense purpose to simultaneously simplify and complicate our lives.

Marsh, just curious, can one vote on anyone's karma up and down as many times as we wish? Or are there limits on Karma votes per person/day? If I were a right prick I might just hammer a member like IrishLuck for being himself. I offered info and watched others offer even more, to the point of his responses declining to a less than zero redeeming value. What was your intent of how we use this new feature? Can this lead to a collective ban if one's Karma hits a low trigger point? maybe there is a virtual potato cannon we can put major offender's avatar in and pull the trigger? Banned for X days. Just curious.

Must be a California thing. Over here we just stone you to death if you're beyond hope. Real stones, no prescription stoning. Either that or leave you in the ditch trying to get a cell phone signal.

Some of those 'pricks' are pretty decent guys, are members here, and have helped us to no end.

While many FJs have met an early and undeserved demise as Legends donors, no doubt, IMO it is now swinging the other way...  Because of the Legends series, there are sources for engines, etc. that would have dried up a long time ago otherwise, helping keep the remaining FJs running strong.
