I know that posting things from ebay about these bikes is frowned upon but I think Andy is probably the only one here that could really take this on with any real success. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/RAYJAY-TURBO-motorcycle-kit-old-school-back-FJ1200-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3cb71aefdeQQitemZ260770033630QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

Old school design......A glowing red hunk of iron under your seat, yea, that sounds like fun....
IMHO, the Newer design with the turbo down low in front of the motor is a superior design.

Why would you think that?

Kinda shocking to me that with a 250hp dyno it was running 8.90's.  Maybe it's just me, but 22psi for 250hp is a little on the insane side as well.  Assuming you went with 8psi and got comparable results you'd only have 155hp.

Nah, too many things aren't adding up there for me.  Besides, tuning the launch of a turbo bike?  Insanity.

My question was directed to the latter part of his statement, not the former...

My opinion on eBay posting is already well known here.

How about the exhaust........should get some nice burns on the inside/underside of the left leg eh!

FJZ1 1200 - It'll do me just fine.
Timing has much to do with the success of a rain dance.

ohhhhh I thought it was obvious that Andy is the only one that can work on a FJ with real success.

Gang,
I am sneeking this in this post because I cant get the home page. Hoping Marsh will see this. When I log on I get an error message "database error" report to administrator.

Sorry to seek help this way. Tried other methods to no avail.

No just that it was my thought that he would be the one to have the best success with the "old school" turbo or try it. As for the only person that can work on their fj with real success each to their own, all the knowledge here comes from many sources, successes and failures, I'm sure.

Mike, sorry for the delay.  I am out of town attending a funeral.  I just fixed you up!  You should be good to go now!
