Hey guys

I just picked up an old 84 fj1100 and while looking for some info I stumbled across this wonderful place.

She needs a lil work mechanically but most of what she needs is cosmetic. Best part is she still runs :) so it should be a good project for now. Seems like theres a lot of potential in her.

So yeah.....hi

Cheers
Kev

Welcome Kev, have you had an FJ before? What is your story?
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Nah never had an fj before. Just bought it off my bro cause he didnt want it anymore.

I've been riding for about 5 years on a lil kawa zzr250 so its a fair bit of a change. Other than that not much to tell other than im in my early twenties and I like to tinker (being that im a car mechanic) and I culdnt pass up such a pretty old style bike

Good on ya mate! The FJ is easy to tinker with and with this group there is nothing you can't do to keep her purring like a kitten or roaring like a lion. Now we all just sit and wait till you get infected with "Moditius" and start upgrading your FJ.
