FJ1200 Fork Mods

I just had my forks modified by Ricoh Suspension in Las Vegas (Henderson) Nevada and it beats the heck out of Race Tech's Gold Emulators.  Feels like a completely different motorcycle, handles perfect.  Dan and Brian were great, super helpful, great service, and excellent price.  They will do the work while you wait or you can ship and they will return.  They are the same company that builds the Vibranator bar ends and they are awesome too.  They are a great company and their number is 888-630-7776.     D2

FYI, we are doing testing on the newest version of the fork valves produced by Ricor. I have them in my bike that I am reassembling and will have them available for testing at the WCR.

They pulled my forks apart, put their spring-loaded "emulator" on the end of the damping rod.  Put in straight 15 weight fork oil and pulled out the damping adjusters.  I can still adjust the damping but don't think I will need to.  I hate to quote a price since I took my forks down to them but it was extremely reasonable compared to what Race Tech grabbed me for on my R1.  Their Vibranator bar ends also make a huge difference on my 1990 FJ, in fact, I will put some on my YZF450 too.
