Clutch housing and Boss wear.

I was in the middle of replacing my clutch when my trusty torque wrench did not provide the correct torque. You know where this is going and yes one of the threaded bosses did break off, crap. So I started looking around and found I do have a spare boss but it has some pretty good wear marks on it as does the clutch housing. The question is what is acceptable wear and what will condem the parts to the recycle bin? Is there a reference depth to the notches or wear areas of the fingers in the clutch housing, and the v notches in the clutch boss where the steels go? As I said I have another one of each boss and housing but if they are beyond use there is no sense going thru the effort of installing worn out parts.

Thanks

If you wind up needing replacement parts, add the first gen R1 to your search.  It has the same clutch components as the FJ.  FJR might also be similar.

The FJR clutch is different, no part will interchange.

I have all of the replacement clutch parts listed on the website; www.RPMRacingCa.com

I will have a look at my manual tonight to see if there are wear specs for the friction and steel tab locations.

Shaun,
Sorry I dropped the ball on this thread. Here is the page from my Yamaha manual, it doesn't give specific information.
