I have a Ixon coat with a removable inner linnig so it's not to hot in the summer time.

I'm looking for pants that have that same option.

Any sugestions?

the motoport kevlar pants are very nice.... i run the police pants (stretch kevlar) and have the optional liner for them. they work great for 4 season riding.    they also have the air mesh kevlar if you really want some serious summertime venting.

have a look  ..... i dont think there is any better protection and comfort available in riding gear..... and you can get it custom made to fit you for no additional cost.

Alain,

I have used these for the past three years.

These are overpants.  They are comfortable and with the full length leg zippers, go on and off easily which is nice for commuting to work.  I've been happy with them, however, I saved the link Frank provided.  Kevlar pant's sound hard to beat.   The Olympia pants are Cordura with hip and tail pads and knee cups.  Still much better than nothing.

The waterproof liner that comes with the pants makes for an excellent liner for those colder rides, but I would categorize the 'waterproof' as 'water-delay'.  They'll keep you dry for about a half hour, then they begin to soak through.

I use the FirstGear HTAir overpants.  They have a rain liner which can be used if you get caught in a dry cold spell.  I've crash tested them and they held up well.

Found a store at about 1hour drive, and they have a lot of choice ( they only sale motorcycle and snowmobile clothing).

My choice went for the scorpion pants.

Ballistic Nylon construction
-Mesh panels in non-impact zones keep me cool
-Exo-tec CE approved removable armor at the hips and knees
-Removable AirGuard waterproof/windproof liner
-Zippered hand pockets and rear pocket
-Dual-adjustment waist belts
-Nightvision reflective trim for improved night time visibility
- fits like a glove
And the price was perfect for me, less than 200.00

Thanks every one for the info

Alain
