Finally got to ride today, :yahoo:  Its been 4 1/2 months since I rode anything, a long, cold winter.  There is a great road about 40 miles away with every kind of turn you can think of, from sweepers to decreasing radius turns with elevation changes. Even better is that it is clean.  Very little gravel for this time of year, I think that weather is turned east by the Grand Mesa so very little precip hits the ground.

A tiny slice of it...

I was thinking this terrain feature should be named after a certain Klavdy?

That is Powderhorn Ski Resort in the background.

Lucky bastard. It snowed here again yesterday, but then it got "warm" (31°F). I won't see my bike for another 6 weeks if this doesn't improve soon.

Bless you and your good fortune, and thank you for posting photos. As much as I am jealous of those of you who have the opportunity to ride November - April, I think I'd miss the severe change of seasons if I lived elsewhere. Thanks to all of you who have posted photos and written about rides this winter; it's your contribution that makes this season easier for me to bear.

Did it again today while testing the regulator mod on my '89. Left, right, left, right, roll it on, hoooold it...hard on the brakes, repeat. weeee........

Gotta wear out these tires so I can do the 17" GSXR rim in the garage.
