CBR Mirror Problem

I just got a pair of mirrors in from D2Moto.com. They advertized that they were glass mirrors, but I got plastic mirrors with the funhouse effect. They didn't have enough bend on them. The mirrors were pointing up, not horizontal to the ground. So I had to file down my bracket (on the fairing) to get the posts to angle down. Then I filled the brackets with cold weld. They will work now, but I'm not really happy with them as I can barely see anything through the warped plastic mirror lenses. :negative:

This is what I got:

Why didn't you just send them back, instead of rigging something that you knew you were not going to be happy with?  Was shipping the main reason?   :unknown:
Do not argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Yeah, shipping is the main problem here. I actually got them here using a friend's APO address.

All my regular mail that is forwarded here is opened and inspected at Budapest customs. Even flat mail. Yes, I've had bank statements opened and looked at. It's a little disturbing, but I just deal with it. I'm still waiting for a $50 check a friend sent to us last June.

No, that's what you have to do in order to become the postal inspector. We've sent things to a friend in Hungary and somehow they never show up, unless it's a boring old letter.
