Another windscreen question

 Does anyone have the MRA Vario Windscreen extension on their oem windscreen.    Thought about one for my bike but not sure if it will fit or not.  Twisted Th  rottle is sending me the measurement but I   dont have a windscreen to measure.  I just bought the bike and the screen has been cut off to low.     Also,  on the site how can I just look at topic's, say windscreen, and that is all that comes up.  It would save me a lot of time not having to go thru everything else.    Thanks for all the help          DCW

I have the vario for my '91 and love it. Obviously a bit pricey, but
nice quality. Only use it when the weather turns nippy. Nice smooth
airflow behind it (no buffeting), which I did have have from the Targa
touring screen it replaced. At the same time I bought the "stock" MRA,
again nice quality. It had been about 11 years since I had the stock
size screen on the bike, and it was a nice change. Great when the warm
weather was upon us. In my opinion you won't be disappointed, but your
results may vary.

    Thanks for all the help.  I think I'm just going to go with the oem stock screen and go from there.  May add the Vario on later if need be.     DCW

I have the twisted throttle Touring windscreen and the Vario windscreen. Love them both. I mostly use the vario as I am 5'8" and the vario eliminates all buffeting for me. I worry a little bit though about the "flip-up"'s strength at top speed. I just fold it down for sport riding and I haven't had a problem what so ever. I had the OEM windscreen and I had to do something about the buffeting so I tried the vario one. It is on my 91 which my wife and I ride so top speed is usually not an issue. If you have questions, ask away and I will try to keep an eye on this thread (computer problems at home )

I have had the MRA Vario on my 93 since 2006.  I love it.  I am 6'5" so no windscreen gets the buffeting off me completely but the MRA works and looks fantastic IMO.  This is not the add-on extension, its the extended screen with a raised lip-
