Over the past several years I have crewed for a few good friends on a club and regional level. This year we are going to the big show. One of my good friends, Jeff Wrobel is stepping up and racing AMA supersport in 2011!

Jeff is a very fast expert and has decided that the only way to achieve his goals in racing we need to step up. To make this happen Rob Hanckock (ECSR attendee) has hung up his leathers to be Jeffs Crew chief, and several of us have committed a lot of time and effort to make this happen. We landed a few big sponsors without which this could never happen including Sportbike Track Gear, 35motorsports, Knox, Bell and many others. I will continue to race my YZF at several WERA vintage events as time and money allows, but my main focus will be on supporting Jeff at AMA and WERA national endurance events. Hopefully I can still make it to at least 1 rally this year, but if not rest assured I will be there in spirit.

Here is jeffs website for anyone interested.

Its pretty small for now but we fully plan to update as the season progresses.

Here are links to a few of Jeffro's sponsors as well:

Brian Van of STG and Reuben Frankenfeld of 35motorsports are great guys and I encourage everyone to support them as they are helping us with a huge amount of support for 2011. We are in negotiations with a few others including one major sponsor and I will update this thread as well as Jeffs site as things change.

I am really looking forward to Daytona...

Man, that looks like fun (and hard, hard work!). The website is rather well done for being brand new, congrats to Jeff and best of luck!

Bill good luck man that is going to be fun.I love watching the races and always thought it would be great to be on a team. The guys racing must truly love what they do because the money they win and what is actually spent to race is no comparicent.

Thanks,

This year we have budgeted $5,000 for each AMA round. So far STG and 35Motorsports are picking up a large portion of the tab, but we are still looking at a major expense. his does not include the WERA nationals or other track time...As of right now we have a pair of 2010 R6's that Jeff raced last year and we are working furiously to get ready for the season, with any luck we may be able to get a 2011 bike in time for Road America (Road Atlanta if they get on the schedule) Suspension and motors for both are at 35 motorsports being rebuilt as we speak.

When you can make a race, AMA or WERA let me know and I will see if I can get you in the pits. WERA will be no problem but AMA could get a little expensive unless we work something out for visitors.

As far as I know we will be at the AMA race on August 12-14, and will be running the WERA national on August 4-7 both in sprints and endurance. Stop by the pits and I will make sure we have a chair and a cold water waiting.
