i've just exchange emails with Don Kirby, he's the new owner/manager of the KOA in Tellico Plains.  He has reserved the remainder of the kabins for us for the fall rally.  i've asked him to hold kabins from 9/12 to 9/19, that's a monday to monday.  he'll also give us a discount, i don't know what it is.  he will hold kabins for us until 8/12/11.  you need to call to make the reservation, (423) 253-2447, otherwise if you try to go through their website it will likely show all kabins booked up (to us).  mention you're with the yamaha fj group that has all the kabins reserved.

FWIW, I wasn't going to be able to make the Rally originally, but some things have fallen into place and I will be there in the area. Staying at the resort in Deals Gap on Friday night, and I've got to be back in Nashville on Saturday night, but I'll try and stop by and for some FJ camaraderie. I'll be on my 92, violet and silver with black GIVI bags; my buddy will be with me on a red/black Meanstreak. If I don't catch you at the campground, I'll see you on the Cherohala!
