While I own a '90, my favorite color scheme is the '89 Dark blue/gold....

it has to be the early ones, the 1tx as its known over here, does benefit from a wheel, brake and suspension upgrade, but thats fair enough after 25 or so years, they are the best looking and nicest to ride (in my opinion!!!!!!!!!!).

Any year that's not mine. The grass is always greener under the other FJ, but I think an '85 painted in the Shiny black/gold scheme with polished 17" wheels might put my wandering eye to rest.

I have a 91 in pretty decent shape, but I'm looking forward to getting the 85 I recently picked up back in good condition. I have always liked the way the 1100's looked...

I Love the 90 Midnight Blue.  The paint changes color in the sun.



I love my White 90 as it looks like a cop bike to car drives and they move over for me.  Other than that, one that runs as I love these bikes.  They are so rare down in San Diego.

The survey has the 88' in gen 3 category, may be misleading to some....Aside from color it is just as perfect as the 86/87. But the Black and Red does look good our bikes as well.

Maybe in some parts of the world it seems, but the '88s supplied to the Great White North are exactly like the '89s supplied to the US.
