XJR1200 exhaust...anyone done it?

Looking for some feedback on what it would take to make this work on my 91 FJ.

I have got them on my FJ no problems the muffler brackets are adjustable if you want to use hard luggage you will need to switch the link pipes to the opposite sides to lower the mufflers because they follow the lines of the bike and point upwards rather than straight personally I prefer them upwards looks sportier.

Hey bluedirtydigit. I spotted the pic of your bike on the UK FJ/FJR forum. The pipes look good. How did you rig up the rear pipe hanger? Can't quite make it out on the picture and it looks far to the back of the stock position.

I moved the rear pegs forward a couple of inches on a 12.5 mm strap the cans come with short straps as well that connects behind the rear pegs very easy and very neat. if you put the pipes on the other sides you wont need to move the pegs because it all sits lower but my wife wanted the pegs moved forward so it suits me the way I have it.

I bought the pipes (14" oval, stubbys) and they took some test fitting, but over all I'm happy with theresults and they sound great.
Baffle in or out, it's hard to tell the difference but it may be more noticible when I get the chance to ride it.

I did have to swap the lead pipes side to side due to the left side not fitting under the rear foot peg mount.
And it looks like the center stand will have to go, but I can live with that for the much improved sound.

It gives the ol FJ a more agressive look and sound, which is just what I was looking for.

Shipping from Delkevic was lightening fast, their customer service is 1st rate and from the looks of the product is outstanding.

Don't forget this was designed for the XJR1300, so any fitment troubles I had are something I was aware of going into this project.

Sound wise, it's alot like my buddies ZX14 with D&D pipes, deep tone and throaty.
