Suzuki Part Numbers -huh?

Folks-

Totally non-FJ, not even motorcycle related, but I thought someone here may know what's up with Suzuki ATV part numbers.  I have order many parts for the Gixxer, without any issues.  But then, I bought a '98 Quadrunner 500 ATV off a buddy that needs a few pieces of body plastic to look a bit more presentable.

So I go to www.suzukipartshouse.net, and search on the right rear mudguard, I spot my part, [#13] all good, then scroll down to the corresponding part # in the grid below and see this:

13        SKU: 63351-09F00-Y0J
MUDGUARD, REAR RH (GRAY) FOR Y6H    1    $68.95

13       SKU: 63351-09F00-Y6J
MUDGUARD, REAR RH (GRAY) FOR Y6K    1    $69.69

Here's the problem.  Neither 'Y6H', nor 'Y6k' appear on my title/ VIN #, engine #, frame # or anywhere I can find in the owners manual.  Even the mighty Google has let me down.  I even emailed suzukipartshouse and they have not answered.  You might think color, but they both say 'Gray', and my buddy assures me there was only once color available when he bought it new.  Year would be odd, as the diagram is supposedly year specific ('98 = W).

I know I have the right year/ model/ make/ diagram/ part # but have no idea how to figure out which one I need.  I stopped by my local stealer, and they did not know, nor did another I called and asked.

So, does anyone know WTF is up with these by any chance.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dan

13-1       MUDGUARD, REAR RH (GRAY) (FOR Y6H) (FOR GRAY)
13-2              MUDGUARD, REAR RH (GRAY) (FOR Y6K) (FOR ORANGE)

y6h, y6k are color codes that machine was offered in gray and orange per suzuki.

Sweet.  Thank you.  Where did you find that?

Thanks again!

I use www.worldofpowersports.com to look up numbers. I usually open the site twice once to look up a part and a second time at a page called "quick order". Cut and paste the part numbers to the quick order page and it will automatically show the current number if it has been superseded and the current RETAIL price. Clicking on the highlighted number in the Quick order cart will pull up a window showing availability and other machines that use the same part.

I actually order my parts via a local multi line dealer.
