I know this should probably go in the video section, but I don't think I would be able to find it in there.

Was in Arkansas last week for a few days and got some video from one of the other riders.  Unfortuntely, he was only riding a CBR600RR, so he had a little trouble keeping up in the twisty sections.  :-)

The first minute is kinda straight, but it gets better.  The group of Harleys helped him catchup.  Watch the mighty FJ do a disappearing act!

Nice road, UToob won't let me upload the whole run.  There's some nice switchbacks at the end of the run, but I was out of sight by that time.

Hopefully this works:

Nice riding David, looks like you showed the 600 rider that experience and torque beat a modern bike and horsepower. I was clear to me from the video that you being consistant was what allowed you to walk away. He was hauling ass to catch up with you in the straight sections then you walked away from him in any of the corners. Well done and glad you had a nice day on the bike...

This video thing is kind of fun.

Here's another nice stretch of road, HWY 14.

I'd put some music on this, but I really like the sound of that motor.  We took a few with the camera on the FJ, but my mount was a little too rubbery and the camera jitter is bad.  I expected the FJ to sound noisier, but all I could hear was gear whine.  Sounded like an electric motor spooling up.

ARK HWY 14

The Harleys are easy targets, we ran across a group of sportbikes from Kansas that were a little more challenging, but they braked way early (and too much) for the curves.  I finally figured out that all I had to do was hang in the oncoming lane, stay on the gas, and wait for them to hit the brakes.  I could pass about 5 at a time.  Didn't get them on video though.  :-(

i think i know that move....  wink wink nudge nudge :good2:

i absofrickinlutely hate it when the sportbikers (and Harleys) punch it on the straights to try and keep us back.....but even the DRZ gets'em on the brakes !  (going downhill :pardon: )
