SILVERGOAT

Damn Dude, that sucks. Sorry to see that happen anytime. Nice try at saving it, though. Great argument for proper riding gear, especially the Roadcrafter suit. Maybe Areostitch will cut you a check for use of the  pictures and it will help with the repair bill. Glad to see your OK.

Sorry to see that happen - Excellent attempt to bring it around.  But could you imagine what was going thru that stuffed animals' head.

Sorry to hear about the get off, at least you walked away, I believe that's an unintentional dismount vs a crash, if I have the terminology right............

FJZ1 1200 - It'll do me just fine.
Timing has much to do with the success of a rain dance.

Hey Harvy, ya I'm about as recovered as I'm going to be, apparently I don't bounce nearly as well as I use too back in the day.  I'm back riding again, mostly track days on the GSXR-750 and a few short jaunts on the Duc Hyper.  I haven't been back out on the FJ but it's still in the stable.  I've been busy modding the Hyper, it's kinda fun working on something totally different after all these years of Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Yamaha.  The Italians definitely do things differently.  Best shifting transmission I've had on a bike, stiff by Yamaha standards but lightning quick.  Not to hijack Deanos thread but here's a shot of the little beastie.  I made the exhaust from left over parts on the GSXR-1000 that tried to kill me and installed a Desmo Challenge tail with and R-6 integrated tail light assy, so the bike is about a foot shorter than it use to be.

Guess I'm over 35 then. Mebbe I need a Bill the cat!

I'm definitely over 35, and a big Bloom County fan. I once gave my wife-at-the-time an opal ring tied around the neck of a stuffed Odie, like a dog tag.

Aaaah, crap! That's "Garfield", not "Bloom County". And I can't delete the post!

Really, really like that Duc, Steve. Good to see you're back in the groove, man.

Dean is a great rider and was very fast, smooth and controlled all week.

here is a short video of how it went. MOTOGP Old Crash Times

Never seen this one anywhere else before but this guy, actually pulls it out!!  But not before literally kissing the front wheel.  Dean, you did a hell of a job trying to save it, but your dedication was NOTHING compared to this maniac.

Hey Rock, thanks for saving me the time of having to join and post on the Road Star Forum. I started reading that and thinking, alrighty someone needs to set the story straight here, and then I get to your post at the end and all is good in the world again.
