I like Rich's idea of getting a new kickstand better though.  I'll have to price that out...

Marsh, Rich and others, don't get a new sidestand just yet.

Not to drop names, but... A guy we know as "the hippie" is gonna come up with some uber-cool extended sidestands (+1.5") for our raised FJ's.
Retention of the oem sidestand switch will be retained.

Stay tuned. Hang loose (get it?) This is gonna be worth the wait.

Hey guys, I have Jon Cain's sidestand pad extension and it works great. Adjustable and reversible, very cool.

Awesome info Pat. I had already had an idea similar to this one. Just didn't develop it as far as adding the aluminum. Nice touch. 

I will begin making mine today.
