I have no more information than this quoted below news item.
I wonder what sparked this.  Did the motorcyclist split lanes?
That's semi-legal here, but does sometimes anger car drivers.
Maybe he made too much noise or drowned out the car stereo?

Anyway, for your consideration......

***Quoted news story***

An infuriated driver armed with a knife has chased down and injured a motorcyclist in a bayside road rage attack, police say.

The 33-year-old motorcyclist had been driving towards St Kilda in Melbourne when he was cut off by a Holden Commodore around 4pm (AEST) on Saturday.

Police have been told both motorists then pulled over near the beach where the car driver got out of his vehicle and ran over to the motorcyclist with a knife in his hands.

During a struggle, the motorcyclist suffered an injury to his right hand before he was able to chase the driver back towards his car.

The car driver then smashed three of his own car windows and two side mirrors before speeding off.

Police arrested a 20-year-old driver about three hours later. Charges have not yet been laid.
The motorcyclist, who was suffering from laceration wounds, headed to the Alfred Hospital to have his hand patched up.

What a dork........

I guess we have to remember that not everyone in this world is level-headed and in full control of their actions.

Sold it!
