My attempts to unload my FJ have been pretty fruitless thus far.
Would the general consensus be to take the loss as a whole, or spend the time to part it out? I know by parting it out I'd come out better in the long run return wise, but I hate to think about it.

lol how much for a front fender?? I don't think a salvage yard would give you much for a wrecked 25 year old bike. But I may be wrong. If you decide to write it off I might drive up and take it off your hands... I just bought a 85 to restore....

Nate,

Sure, parting it out will EVENTUALLY get you more $, if you sell all the bits.
Selling it 'whole' puts it into the past tense category, and you move on with only memories.
Its your decision, but watch out for vultures either way.

Cheers,

How much?
Where are you?
I'm always looking for bikes, I don't have a 1100 yet.

Ahh! Vulture! Arnie can see into the future, even if it's only 8 minutes! Bob, you can come to my place and clean up all the 1100 innards and bones laying about first...

Hi Doug

I've been called worst (probably in the last 24 hours)  :shok: but it's ok.
I.m lucky enough to have plenty of storage room for all my stuff, and with room to grow.  :yahoo:

I don't see your point.
just because I don't have any more floor space doesn't mean I can't go up.   :dash1:
