Through searching I see some people have put the FZR600 rear wheel and swingarm on their FJ but wondering if a 1988 FZR1000 would fit on a non-ABS model?

I don't think I've seen anyone put a FZR 600 rear wheel, or swinging arm on a FJ. The FZR 600 when is shiny and don't
Doesn't use the latest radial tyres. It's the 1997 onwards YZF 600 R (Thundercat, not YZF R6) when that we're using with the stick FJ swinging arm, or the YZF 1000R Thunderace swinging arm and wheel.

Be careful you use the right wheels from the right bikes, otherwise you could be in for a lot of work to make everything fit and line up.

Many have gone for a Suzuki GSXR Wheel (make sure you get right model) which is really easy to fit on its own, but you need a GSXF caliper mount or a lug welding to your swinging arm for the torque arm.

Personally I went for the YZF 600R Wheel conversion as it's quick, easy, uses the most FJ parts and is generally the cheapest complete unit to source. It's a 17"x5" wheel, so all the latest radial tyres are available in the right size (160/60x17 or 170/60x17 - both fit straight in).

87-88FZR wheel is 18'' if I am correct.
Arm is good cause wider, wheels not so much.

There is better options than FZR's.
It does not matter how slowly I go as long as I do not stop.
