My 86 has a bad vibration in the lower revs, seems to go away after 4500 rpm.
My buddy's 89 does it also, but his 1100 don't. There all recently tuned.
just wondering if any one else has a similar problem, and how to remedy it.
It's very annoying and makes my hands go to sleep after a couple hundred miles
Thanks Bob

A good carb sync will eliminate alot of vibes. Motor mounts...on rubber mounted engines they can seize and create vibrations, but ours(86's) don't have that type of mount. I had a motor mount bolt go missing a while back, and found that after replacing it and torquing down the rest of the mounts I have more vibrations then before. :pardon: go figure....

Not much help but....

86 isn't rubber mounted so much.

Start with a carb synch.  Actually, start by checking yer valve lash, probably time anyhow isn't it?  If it's specific to low revs and happens in any gear, you're talking motor vibes rather than wheel balance or the like.
