Coerce sprocket cover ?

Has anyone fitted one to the FJ, I know it designed for the XJR and spaced out further than the stock casing, I've bought it for aesthetics, as I'm sure I'll get away with an offset sprocket for the Thunderace rear wheel.

I don't want to fit the XJR parts, so think I'll get away with just respacing the cover.

Question is, if anyone has fitted the guard on the FJ, how much did they remove from the spacers included in the kit.

I think I'm tracking - idea is these spacers are set up for the XJR with the longer clutch pushrod and will need to be shortened for the FJ pushrod?  I "THINK" the difference is 10mm?  Best to ask Randy and Robert - they know the difference.  They helped me do the opposite with another version of that part (made by PFMR maybe?) but I was using it with the XJR pushrod in the FJ

It is an 8mm difference in pushrod length and the shift shaft is also longer by 8mm.

Do you lose the support on the shift shaft with that thing?

It has a hole for the shift shaft, whether it has a bush in it I dont know.

Thanks

Looks like this one still supports the shift shaft.  I don't remember on the PMFR one - I'll have to look for it again to see.  I don't ever remember any shifting issues even when using the air shifter with it.

I zoomed in on an old pic of the dragbike - the PMFR also had the hole for the shift shaft to pass through, but no bushing in it either.  Never had a shifting issue with it.

The 1200 cover had no bushing just a hole. The XJR cover had a needle roller bearing with seals to make shifting a bit smoother.

Trial fit with the gear shift in place, looks like their's a chance of it fitting without having to use the XJR shift shaft. Need to measure the mount face of the stock clutch slave to see if I can still use the FJ clutch pushrod.
