After waiting about two months I thought I'd go down to the powder coaters and see why they hadn't powder coated my frame, they had, they'd lost my contact details, just as well I saw it first as I was ready to kick off about them wasting my time.

Anyway, it's done, probably not the best job ever, but it looks a lot better than it did before.

I ordered a 1080lb spring for the W/P shock, it's probably going to be a bit over sprung for the EXUP Damping it would have been supplied with, but I'll ride it and see how it performs before having it rebuilt. Total cost so far is about £220 so a bit of a bargain, if it works.

Of course, now I have a more suitable spring the shock tunnel on the swingarm will require modifying as the original weedy spring only just cleared it, so a trip to a fabricator is going to be my next port of call.

Never simple is it

If it was simple anyone could do it ...and would.
Fortunately its not simple so well done modifications are an art worth appreciating
Stainless lines
Blue spot calipers but std m/cyl (so far)
Ebc prolite front discs
Ohlins remote adj rear shock
Remus 4:1
Still running original chain and sprockets from new (scotoilers really work)

1080lb spring is very close to the Penske recommendation of 1050... I think you'll be ok.
