Hi guys. I'm in Australia and need 2 new throttle cables for a 1994 FJ1200. Does anyone have some for sale and anyone know the part numbers?
Thanks again,

Barney

Barney,

Can't help directly, but a good motorcycle shop may be able to duplicate the old cables that you have there.  Maybe the 1994 was not imported to the USA, but here is a parts catalog for a 1993.  Check the "Handlebar Cable" sheet:

This will not fix broken cable strands, but you may just need some cable lube.  Many bike shops sell this gadget, or similar:

NOTE: WD-40 is mostly kerosene.  It will gum up the works.  Use a good quality lube, not silicone.

HTH.
Cheers,
Red

P.S. Life is too short, and health is too valuable, to ride on cheap parade-duty tires.
