Hi, recently picked up my first FJ-1990 3cv. Love the ammount of information there is on here!

Tibsy,

Welcome to the FJ campfire! Relax and be among friends.

For any new owner, it would be wise to check to be sure the fuel petcock has been safety wired.  I believe this applies to all years of the FJ, but better to be safe than sorry.
We have a great well of tech information and expertise here; there are also FJ forums in Europe/ Germany, for any non-USA related issues.

Nice looking machine!  May you have miles of smiles there!
Cheers,
Red

P.S. Life is too short, and health is too valuable, to ride on cheap parade-duty tires.

Welcome in Tibsy, I hope you enjoy the FJ experience, I know Paul did  :good2:

Any questions, just ask !

Red - I don't believe the pet o m issue affects the 3CV and 3XW fuel pumped models.
