I continue the work on my '86 1TX.

After i changed the rear mudguard to a 1000 Exup's, yesterday i started to work on the front end. Showa 43mm USD forks and Brembo 2 piston calipers from a Ducati Monster. '91 FZR1000 Exup front wheel, lower and top yoke, custom made handle bars. I blended down the welding of the front light-support bracket from the frame, so the wider yokes and thicker forks can also turn free. As the Monster is not using it, i have to drill a small bunion in to the let fork, for the speedo drive to prevent its rotation. I blended the top yoke for the FJ key ignition switch, so the handlebar lock is working just as before.
The upper cowling will be the next main work. The lower, wider and sporty handlebars wont turn because of the cowling, so i have to modify its shape. The inner black panels will be dismantled as long as i work on the cowling.
