Recently ultrasonic cleaned carbs & replaced needle seats & needles on them. Started right up & set idle. After a few minutes I noticed fuel dripping from #2 carb pod filter. Nothing coming from overflow. I have set all float heights at correct levels. Any ideas or suggestions before I have to remove & open them up?            Thanks.

Could be a stuck float. Tap. On the float bowl see if that works.

I tried tapping on the bowl & carb but still drips from pod but only when running. I dont understand why fuel isnt comming out of overflow if the float or needle is stuck.

It can take a pretty aggressive "tap" - I've had to whack one a lot harder than I'd like.

What does the fuel filter look like?  Is there rust or trash in the tank?  People have blown air back thru the vent tube to clear some crud from the needle seat before with success.

If you can get it running - try to ride it around the block - hit some bumps and get some good vibrations going through it.  I honestly think clean carbs are sometimes a bit "sticky" - only time I've had floats stick or slides stick have been right after a really good carb cleaning!

Thanks,
It's running fine.  Just dripping fuel from #2 pod. Time to get busy & smack it a little harder, I guess !

....or, you could just drop the fuel bowl and wiggle the float up and down with your finger.
You have K&N pods so it's easy to get in there...

Get some clear tubing and check your fuel level.
