To those following the incorporation of HUD in motorcycle helmets remember the painful experience of the Skully helmets. Setting that aside, here is a MCN article about a new player in this field.

For the most part, I find no need for HUD, except for navigation in city traffic.
I find (for me) looking down at the map display on my iPhone is dangerous (in the city) therefore I keep my phone in my tank bag and listen for the audible directions from my phone thru my Sena. It works ok, but not always....a HUD display on the inside of my visor would be better.

Cheers

Pat,

My continuing gripe with high-tech installed in new helmets is their total lack of concern about the main function of helmets: head safety.

Tell me all about how well it looks and works, sure, but I REALLY want to see the impact standards, D-rings, strap anchors, weight (mass), MIPS and/or better force dissipation systems in there.

I have no wish to be "smart"ly guided by my helmet to a personal-disaster impact which the helmet itself should have reduced or prevented.
Unfortunately, the tech costs so much that adding a great helmet would put the price out of reach for many riders,
so they skimp on the important stuff.     :ireful:
Cheers,
Red

P.S. Life is too short, and health is too valuable, to ride on cheap parade-duty tires.
