She's looking good Steve!  Maybe Pat can hook you up with some simichrome.  Be careful though... its hard to stop the polishing once you start...

" Hey,  :hi: You've been up in the Great White North... :drinks:  I'm in the Napanee area and there is not alot of 'white' around this year!  This is the first winter I did some late xmas shopping on the FJ! There are still lots of decent riding days, too.

Are you the original owner of that 86?  Looks like you didnt let it sit around...... Good on ya for keeping it alive and ready! "

No but more or less yes as I bought it with 1000kms on it in 87;  And your right it hasn't sat around.  I put most of my Kms on it in the first five years...maybe around 80k.  The bike has 120kms on it ... the donor motor has about 20k miles to start so my KMs match in number at least to where the motors at.

its been down as far as Virginia - Blue Ridge Pky.  PA a few times.  A trip to California to do Hwy 1 from T-O prior to moving down here ... all good times

Good job Steven. The FJ gods are smiling at ya... My bike should be ready to run the first week of March, so let's ride then. Pat

I will look forward to it... we could probably do the roads in your neck of the woods as we have just been to the LA ones and this week are the San Diego tarmacs.   So start thinking of a route ...lets plan it when you are ready.
