Hi,
Paul from sunny Dorset, south west UK.
Been messing around with FJ's for some time but not done too many miles on any of them!
That's going to change, when lockdown ends.

Millietant

Welcome in Paul, great place to be for all things FJ.

Can't wait for lockdown to be over too.....missing being out on the old girl !!

Ha ha, not sure if you're being serious here Ted, or sarcastic (regarding the old tongue twister rhyme)  :sarcastic: :sarcastic:

Totally serious. In my world, there is only one reason to pluck a pheasant.

Ah....... the tongue twister isa  rhyme involving the repeated saying of "pheasant plucker" in various lines, the aim of which is to get you to subconsciously swap the first two letters of the first word, with the first two of the second word.  :sarcastic: :sarcastic:

Sarcastically, here in the UK we'd use the term to describe someone that we thought wasn't a very "Pleasant Ph*cker". :good2:

Based on his other post - I'd say driven - very driven!

I dunno, riding seems like great "social distancing" entertainment to me. Why wait? Just cut out the beer bar stops.
Welcome aboard!

We wait because we're not allowed to ride (unless to buy food, go to work, or for medical purposes) under the terms of our lockdown rules - it's illegal to break the rules and they come with an instant £200 fine - and so far I've seen 2 riders pulled over locally and ticketed during lockdown.

I'd rather keep my money in my pocket  :sarcastic: and then send it to RPM for some parts  :good2:

I often ride down to around Amesbury and Salisbury but rarely head much further south on the bike- but really like the area around Wareham and Swanage (been cycling there and love it).

Maybe we can catch up later in the year with the FJ's.

Most of my mates would say rough!
I'm more effective with a rifle.
