....Many years ago, Henry (a friend on mine with a GSXR750) and I would make Saturday night runs to Clearwater beach.

Where there is a small shopping plaza, that we called...THE LOT...   On any given Saturday night, there would be 100+ sport bikes, that would show up.

On this one Saturday night, a group on sport bikes pulled in, and one of them happen to be a red and white FJ.
They ended up parking about thirty yards away from us. So, we went over to introduce our selves. (JD was on the FJ)

We talk for about an hour. (and we did exchange cell phone #s) when they decided to leave. They pulled out of the parking lot and up to a red light. When the light turned green, and they all took off, from the light and when JD hit second gear, that  back tire went-to-smoking.          (I just thought that was so impressive).

About an half-in-hour later, Henry, got a call from one of the guys from that group. and he said, there was a accident with JD and another guy from that group, at a warehouse parking lot.

note: a lot of the guys with sport bikes, would go out looking for a  big well-lite parking lot. So, they could practice their stunts and drag race, on Saturday nights.

So, when we got to that location, We could see JD (by him self) in pain. His right pants leg was torn and his right leg was bleeding

A lot of damage, on the right side of the gas tank and the right side panel.        pic in the gallery

About a week later, I got a call from JD, and he said, that they ended up, going to court over that accident.

So, I ended up buying that tire smoking FJ, for $250.00.     and it was about a twenty minute drive, to his house.

You just never know, what the next day is going to hold for you!!
