Enough I say. Sod this relentless search for cheap engine bars.
I've bid on ebay in the US - no luck.
Even found some on the UK Ebay site. Got my Mum to bid on my behalf - but a grasping dealer out-bid her. Curses.
Buzzed the nations largest dismantlers in Sacramento - zippo.
So the bullet will have to be bitten and I'm going to pick some up this summer when I visit England.
If anybody wants a pair they are 89.50 pounds from the factory, which converts to $137 bucks.
That's $35 bucks less than the $172 revsperformance wants.
Cash up front folks and don't forget a bit for postage from Ca to you (depends on your location obviously)
OR..... you can always wait and see what our metal benders in Sacramento can come up with should they feel inclined. At least they'll have the 86 model to look at over a beer and contemplate the possibilities.
