removal of advance plate issue

I have an85 fj1100,i am trying to remove the ignition timing advance plate,the 2 screws that hold it in are beyond tight ,I am using a jis screwdriver,,any suggestions??

They've got loc tite on them.  Just use a little pencil torch and head the head till the heat seeps down to the loc tite and they'll come right out.  Banging on an impact driver is a last resort
