The forecast for today was high 50's to low 60's. I have been doing some work and repairs on the VFR. I invited a friend of mine out for a chilly Winter ride. 36°F at departure for a 80 mile ride up to Marquette Kansas to visit the Kansas Motorcycle Museum. The ride home was enjoyable in the mid 50's. They even had a real TZ750. The only one I have ever seen in person

Very Nice!
I had to get out and ride today too!
I went just shy of 450-miles today............
Not bad for "Officially Winter" in Colorado.

Alan, your chart left out the temperatures.  I've gotta ask...

It was chilly during the morning part.............around 40-degrees F.
The middle of the day warmed up into the 50's, and then the afternoon part cooled back down into the low 40's.

You Coloradans are made from hearty stuff.  Maybe the air is dryer in CO and it doesn't feel as cold as here in the Bay Area.

Joe

It is pretty dry here in Colorado, but I grew up in central NY.............We had some brutally harsh winters there.

Fred,
If you ever want to meet in St. Francis, I'm game!

Alan,
That looks to be doable. That is a good haul for each of us. 364 miles for me and 174 miles for you. I can also put it out there to a few others that I ride with to make a small group ride. Off the top of my head we can do it early springtime, Say mid April?

As long as there is no threat of snow or freezing-rain, I'm in for whenever..................Spring would work good for this.
