Here we go again. Haha. Cylinders 1 and 4 are at TDC. I bought a clymer manual is there any errors in it? Here are the pictures. Intake always first in the pictures. Will post clearances here soon, I can also do a compression check. Theres definitely some slop in the chain it may be off a tooth on the intake. Is there any downside to slotted gears? I'm thinking the chain has more life left in it. From what I can see the guides look just fine. I double checked tdc via a pick through the plug holes.

As for your question about the Clymer manual.... I don't own one, but there are members here that have mentioned errors. I don't remember exactly what the were. :pardon:

When i did a top end rebuild, i used a Haynes manual and found no issues with the reassembly.
