They are not cheap, but they are super accurate and come with loads of options. This is a sample with the current sale.

First in the pictures is my '84.  Fred will need to quote you for the gauges delivered to your hands, but I can attest to the ease of installation and MUCH improved performance...  all gauges are stable and accurate unlike the ancient cluster with bouncing fuel, wandering speedo, and wavering tach...  I couldn't be happier.

The Tachometer does not have a default Redline. When placing the order, the Redline request is entered in the notes. The very first set of gauges that I did on my 89 had no Redline at all. Look at the last photo of the gauges.

As an added note. For the 1100 owners. With the GPS speedometer you gain a digital clock. When I ride, the mileage/clock screen is used 99% of the time

Here is a comparison photo set showing the OEM gauges against Franks gauges for Stormy. The OEM Tachometer reads 9500 for the beginning of the redline, so that is what I used as the Redline for the Speed Hut tachometer. You can also see in the photo of the OEM set that the fuel gauge needle has flip over and is stuck past the needle stop.

As Frank mentions the needles are rock solid, When I did my Saddle Sore 1000 ride last year, My Speed Hut GPS speedometer showed 1044 miles on the trip meter. The Iron Butt Association verified my distance at 1046 miles. 2 miles difference over a 1000 miles is pretty damn accurate I think.

I am seeing heavy cracking damage on Fred's set and the start of cracking on Frank's set at the bottom of the two outer gauges in the clear lens cover.

Is that because the bezel is too tall and contacting the cover?

I just recently ordered a set for the NY bike and if that is what I can expect, I am going to have to do something else.

There are two or three bezel types to choose from.  Fred's first attempt did stress the gauge cover as is obvious in the pics.  I just went and confirmed mine are not cracking...  Fred took that pic of Stormy after towing to Hayfork and then cleaning up...  it was a spray cleaner or dirt reside in his pics I think.  Be sure you get the right bezels...

The lens in my photo is the original 24 year old lens. The crazing and micro cracks were already there before I installed the new gauges. You need to use the Legacy Bezels for the gauges to get the lowest profile.

I have to agree with Fred , First they are not cheep .  But worth it to have working gauges. Plus the clock is handy.

This was my take on replacing the gauges with the help from speed hut and $516 us. plus shipping and exchange rate of 33%

They were super easy to install
after I read a couple right ups from  Fred and Urban Legend.  I did the set up  on my work bench using a 12 dewalt volt battery
 
I also  added an oil temperature to the fuel gauge.

I did have to send them back to remove the set up buttons off the front of the gauges to keep them looking clean.
The GPS receiver is tucked up under the faring on the inside again nice clean install.

Before I started I bought a used 85 complete gauge cluster off ebay and used that one to install the speed hut gauges In case I ever had to install my originals back in .  I don't see that happening but always nice to have the option.
