Hey all, little bit of backstory. My brother has my bike for a few weeks, while we are having some work done to his. This morning, he decided to see how well my bike, and the back of a car mesh. Answer, not well. Most everything is easy enough to fix, but he also crushed one of my Rizoma Mirrors. But the kind that I have are no longer produced, so I cant simply replace the one. Before I go and order a new set, I wanted to see if anyone has recommendations for the 1100, as to what some top notch mirrors are. I understand that I cant eliminate all vibration, but something that I can see out of while going 85 would be amazing. I have a crappy cheap pair I will fit for the time being, but would like to upgrade them back soon.

Any recommendations are appreciated,
Ryan

I have Rizoma asymetric mirrors on Stormy...  good visibility at all speeds I've experienced.  Your Rizomas vibrate?

Yea, I'm not impressed with Revzilla's and Cycle Gear's offerings on Rizoma mirrors.
I would look oversea's for a vendor

Ryan, do you have RPM's Vibranator bar ends?

What I've noticed with my Rizomas vs the 84/85's oem Mickey Mouse ear mirrors, is that there is less wind noise buffeting my helmet when those Rizoma mirrors are located lower and outbound from the oem location. Decades ago in flight school, I was taught about vortices off the wing tips of heavies.

If using chrome, right click and you can translate to English from the dropdown. It does look they are sold individually so looks like around $129 a mirror

These are the mirrors i use...  no vibration, decent field of view, slightly convex on outer edge to give you more visibility to the side.

Your vibrations might be more severe than mine...  keep the valves adjusted and the carbs synch'd to minimize.

If your FJ has rubber engine mounts, don't forget to service/lube these also.  Makes a big difference too with vibes up through the front end) and everywhere else).

The 1100's do not have rubber mounted engines, like the later model 1200's.
