If they can't get you one way...

http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/3595827/Motorcyclist-killed-in-collision-with-police-car

just a reminder about how dangerous it is out there.

However, my friend who's son works with the serious crash unit has already announced that the ute driver was the biker's best mate and unofficially the bike was probably going at least as fast if not faster than the ute and they were returning home from a BBQ. Alcohol may have been a factor. The biker landed a long way down the road from the prang not a few metres. It doesn't excuse turning on a blind hill but it my not have happened if the rider wasn't going full tit.

Ride carefully

I believe there is a number stamped on all of our collective asses and when it is up....
It is a sad accident and there will be a lot of grieving families.
Kookaloo safely my friends.
I've often been asked, 'What do you old folks do now that you're retired'?

"Well. I'm fortunate to have a chemical engineering background, and one of the things I enjoy most is turning beer, wine, Scotch, and margaritas into urine."
