Anything for the deep south people that have FJs?  Or that a taboo area of some sort? :nea:
Do not argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Nope.

Rallies happen when a group of folks decide to meet in the same place on a predetermined date. Dean has the actual rules that determine if it was indeed a rally, but you get the basic idea.

If you want a rally to happen in your area, make it happen. Just don't forget to invite the steers too.

I don't know if I'm worthy of taking up the task of putting together a "Rally", but I would like to start small and work up to it.  Anyone in the Texas area that would like to meet up?  Maybe I could put a list together and then work up to "rally" status after a couple of people start meeting.  I'm all for it!  :good:

I'm considering a trip up to Arkansas in early June.  I hear the Hill Country has nice roads, but Ark is just as close for me and I KNOW it's got an over abundance of great roads.

Now you're talkin... I'd be up for a bit of Ozark twisties myself.

It probably wouldn't take much arm twisting to get Tiny Tim and Rock down there, either.

June might be a bit close to the ECSR for me, though.

I notice that Ark is missing from your ride map.  Gotta do something about that!

This will be my trip in place of the ECSR.  I just can't make that week in May work anymore.  It's also hard to justify the 18 hour drive to Boone vs. 5 hr to the Ozarks.  Just like back east, Ark has an incredible mix of twisty mountain roads and low traffic/LEOs.

Did a trip up there in Sept  and over a 350 mile ride we only had to pass maybe 5 cars the whole day.  But it was on a Wednesday.  I like to go during the week, maybe stay for a Saturday, but definitely leave on Sunday to avoid cruisers, tourists, and LEO.
