Ian and I are going to attend.I could only vote for myself as Ian isn't a member. If i get my second fj roadworthy by then ill have him leave his kawasaki at home.
Mods - is it possible to add a "Commit" vote for Ian...  maybe an honorary member for this purpose?

Frank

No, but since it is free for anyone to join he can just sign up and vote.

Edit: I see Ian did just that, Welcome Ian

I would give Zari and Olsen a nudge, but their phone numbers got lost along with everyone else's when my iPhone did it's thing.
Instead then I'll just moan about Garth, Capt Ron, Mopar man, Simi Ed, etc, etc who should get their fingers out.
Then again, I bet Ron Oort will come through.

Zari's in and he'll reach out to Mark O...

Frank

PS - Welcome Ian!

Donna (Black Betty) and I are in! Arriving Thursday and leaving Monday, all meals, camping in our camper.

Thank you Frank for all your work! I hope we get enough interest to make it happen!

I voted and I'm in for the deposit.  Unless we need to decide now, will consider sleeping quarters when we get to that point.  Talked with Olsen today, and he said he would log in to attend also.  This should be a good one everybody!

No need to decide on sleeping quarters yet...  they have at least 5x the capacity we need and we'll be the only guests there, so we should all have the full range of choices available.  Once we are past the go/no-go hurdle (~20 riders committed to pay deposit), I'll send a summary and we'll dive into days/rooms/meals discussion.

Frank

BTW - with Derek and Donna we are at 13-14 riders now and have at least 1 double occupancy pillion (that would be may secret weapon Diane)...  so we are very close.  If Mark O and one more (maybe Cap'n Ron?) sign up, I'll start organizing the summary for a quick shift into real planning.

I'm in!  Gonna be a hoot as always!

Cap'n Ron. . .

Sorry peeps, but I'm out for this rally.  I've had enough of Oregon and I'm getting the hell out of here for good.  House will go on the market lake April or early May and will be priced for a reasonably quick sale.

Hope everyone has a great time. I should be able to make the 2020 rally. I enjoyed the Hayfork location and it looks to be even better with the remodeling they have done.

...gonna need a new handle...  maybe ex-pdxfj?

Portland (PDX is Portland Airport) appears to be f'ing crazy and not really part of Oh-re-gun at all.  Maybe you should give the dry side of the Cascades a try...  Bend/Redmond area is on fire growing at ~10% per year right now.  The money and energy in this area is making it hard for me to stay retired already...  Bunch of ex-Si Valley folks have moved to Bend and are trying to figure out how to spend their money, building estates and starting businesses appear to be the primary outlets.  Redmond (RDM) is our "major" airport (like 5 gates i think)...  so maybe you're destined to be RDMFJ?

Sorry it isn't looking like you can make it, but a reminder that late arrivals due to last minute changes in plans will be welcomed...  the campsites/platforms/rooms will not be full and I bet you'd love Hayfork when it's dry (fingers crossed).  Either way, hope your adventure goes well and we'll get to see you in 2019.

Garth, well you'll be missed. Statistically moving house and getting married are the two most stressful things in life. It's debatable, of course, as to which is the most stressful. I've got them as level pegging. Anyway, at the other end of the stress scale is the Fj rally camp fire. You might need to show up just to balance out your 2019.

Where's Kjell? He better show up!
Put me down for likely to attend with full deposit.
It is too early to guarantee attendance but I will make every effort to pull it off.
I am site neutral, I will go wherever the group wants to go.

Kjell,

roortcloud

I voted likely to attend & thank you Frank for the info.
