I spoke to a Lady at the main phone number, because Kent never returned my message.
We went over the details of my stay, and payment arrangements.
She spoke to Kent directly earlier this week for me, and called me back.  All is good.
See you all there!  :drinks:

I did the same as Alan. Called, left message, played phone tag and eventually confirmed status and housing details.

Nice! Thanks for all your efforts, Frank. Should be a great Rally. I got no answer when I called, must have been out and about. Sounds like it's ready to go, tho. See you all soon!

PS, thanks for the extra attention to the honeymoon suite...

Haha, this reminds me of a joke I heard sittin on the fantail of a destroyer, or halfway through a pitcher of bullfrog on the patio of a bar in the Phillippines, I'm not sure which...

A soyboy wanna-be ANTIFA shim gets arrested for disorderly conduct when he rips a MAGA hat off a wheelchair-bound WWII vet at a "peace rally", and gets thrown in a holding cell with "Bubba". After a couple hours of silent awkwardness, Bubba says, "So, soyboy, we gotta figure out who's gonna be the Momma and who's gonna be the Daddy, so I'll let you decide..."

Soyboy sits quietly for a minute, and finally realizes he can decide his fate, and pipes up with confidence, "I'll be the Daddy."

Bubba says "Sounds good to me, get over here and start suckin Momma's d..."   :rofl2:

I hope everyone who is able to attnd the 2019 WCR has a great time. Stay safe in your travels to, during and from the event.

Unfortunately, My wife and I are not available to attend this year. I was tasked to be one of the coordinators for the largest event held in the City of Modesto every year; Graffiti Night, 2019 and the other events of the weekend. https://americangraffitifestival.com/nmk/

Graffiti weekend is major because George Lucas was born, raised and graduated from Modesto. In fact he was an underclassman of my mom at Downey High School. The movie American Graffiti was based on his growing up in Modesto and graduating in 1962: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0069704/

I have been attending meeting weekly for the past month and will be in meetings this week and getting prepared over the weekend.

This commitment means the WCR is out for us this year. If it wasn't so far from us, we might have tried to take a drive up to meet everyone for one evening, but at 300 miles and 6 hours, I can't make it happen.

If anyone is still in the area and wants to be a part of the Graffiti Weekend it is a good time. It draws people from all over the world and presents more than 1000 classic cars and 25-30k people in attendance.

Again, have fun at the WCR, we regret not being able to attend.

You'll certainly be missed, Randy, as well as the rest of your family. We gotta plan better for next year so we can do both! BTW, will you be open Wednesday for a last-minute oil change and visit?

IDK,  between the power outage Thursday,  Robert being away Friday and today being a holiday.

And the RPM Memorial Day sales event, there are a ton of orders to be packed and shipped.  I'm not sure if he'll get them all done tomorrow.

Check with Robert tomorrow afternoon.
