By reading a few websites, they are investigating him for attempted murder for this stunt.

This guy is surely a hot head, look at this one. He is kicking & hitting the other rider before shutting his bike off and riding off...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7fep8y0X2w

Almost as bad as a fellow FJ rider who passes you on the inside of a corner, pushing you out wide, on the street mind you..... Just recalling that stunt frosts my ass. Grrrrrrrr...

I have never head that story

What a hot head jerk wad that racer is.  His career is toast.

That's an incredibly dick move imo.

I used to have a friend who would reach over and hit your kill switch.

Just a gag on a straight road, annoying but not deadly.

I will not ride with that guy any more....nor will many of us.

Folks still do the kill switch gag, but only at stop lights, never on a moving bike.

You're a careful rider Mike, you wouldn't pull a stunt like that....

Wow, what an absolute ass. I can't believe someone would do that, no matter what.I hope he does get that attempted murder charge, especially if the guy crashed shortly after. Also, I'm pretty curious to hear that story Pat...

Fenati did similar things when he was in Moto3. He had the dream gig with Rossie's VR46 team a couple of years ago, and blew it with his antics. He was fired 1/2 way through the season for it also (amongst other things like arguing with Rossi).  The guy had talent, was a race winner, but couldn't keep his shit together. In Moto3 he hit the  kill switch on Niki Ajo's bike (son of KTM team mngr Aki Ajo), but was only penalized points.

Since he started in Moto2 he hasn't added up to shit, so sayanara. It's incredible that he was even hired for Moto2.

Contrast him with last year's Moto3 Champion Joan Mir, who is doing very well in Moto 2 this year. Always a smile, never an incident on track, and an absolute iceman. The Moto GP series, for those that haven't followed it, is some incredible racing at all three levels. I cannot believe that Valentino is still racing at nearly 40 years of age, and is only slowed by his poor performing Yamaha (Ugh).

I love watching Rossi win, or least be competitive as the odds are so heavily stacked against him. His overtaking is still legendary and he's colourful without being a PIA. It is cringeworthy watching others trying to imitate his post race antics, you can't force that and it shows.

I heard a commentator make an interesting observation about Rossi, said he had been racing for so long and the bikes have changed so much over that time, he has had to re learn how to ride 3 times over his career, something few riders have successfully done once let alone 3 times.

Love him or hate him, he has put MotoGP in the public eye in a way the entire rest of the field could never have done, even my wife has heard of him!! This is a woman who after 10 years of my FJ ownership, when asked what I ride says a "blue bike, I think it's a Yamaha"

He's my favorite. I love his attitude and his tenacity. He squeezes every ounce out of that inferior Yamaha consistently, especially on race day. I can't ignore Marc Marquez, tho, the guy is talented as hell, and defies physics in many cases. He does get a little too frisky sometimes, but he's fun to watch.
