G'day Greg, I've had a tool similar to that for about three years. During that time I have used it three times to change
valve stem seals whilst the head was still in place. I also used the rope down the plug hole method to hold the valves in place.
The biggest issue I had was getting a straight hit at the tool when doing the some of the exhaust valves. I overcame this problem by
having someone hit a drift onto the special tool that I was holding. The inlet valves were very easy to do. The valve keepers came
out very easily and were also quickly replaced using this method.
   Regards, Pete.
