I will be riding up to the Petaluma 2018 FJ Rally on Thursday May 31 from SoCal area -- Oceanside.  I am Just wondering who is going from SoCal and when you are planning your ride.

My plan is to leave from Ventura area on Thursday Morning -- ride 33 to 166 then over to the 101 -- to the PCH Hwy 1 --then up the Coast to Petaluma.  Can be flexible -- 101 can be cool as well --   I put the GPS on my final destination and when the arrival time says 730 or 8pm I take the freeways the rest of the way so I can check in during the light of day --- in years past I have made it to San Fran on    ' two laners " and freeway the rest.

Paul and I will be leaving on Tuesday, going up 395, staying in Reno, then on Wednesday over the Sierra's and down to Petaluma arriving on Wednesday.
I need to rustle up some firewood.

Last CALL -- well not really -- I will check the post again before I leave Wed.   Any other SoCal riders going up Thursday Morning from the area.   Mark and I will be leaving Thursday from Ventura.   going the coastal route if clear -- and so far the weather looks good for that --- Stops at Alices in Santa Cruz mtn / Skyline drive  -- then on to San Fran and Petaluma before dark -- ETA to campsite  6- 7pm

 If interested let us know

Seems odd to not be joining the SoCal ride to the WCR, but I'm looking forward to see you when you get up here!  Safe travels!
