Upload Issues

I have noted two recent posts that mention they are not able to upload .jpg files.

I also recently heard from Monkey that he was having an upload issue of a very large pdf file.

If I am not aware of these types of issue, I cannot address them.

I need to be able to tell the software programmer specifics about these issues. I just was able to load .jpg files into this topic just a few minutes ago: Re: New York to Cali...or bust

So, if you are having issues uploading, please be as descriptive as possible with your specific issue so I can get it figured out & resolved.

I tried to upload a change on profile pic that would not load up. Chose file, hit update, now no pic on profile.

Mine keeps telling me I can't upload pictures. Says May be too big for my server and I should contact my provider. But like I have no problems any where else. Thought maybe some restrictions. Because I haven't contributed in a while. (This house is consuming every penny I have) so I sent the minimum amount. To see... But still can't get it to work.

Hi Randy

Mine also states that it can not save attachments when uploading,that I should contact my administrator.
If I convert to pdf,it loads the files

If you guys would take a screen shot of the error message and send them to me, that would be very helpful.

Dan, it has nothing to do with the support of the forum. Any member, contributor or not can upload.

Tim, was your replacement photo a .jpg file?

Yes ... redid it to JPEG to ensure and got same results.

I just uploaded 2 photos directly from my phone and posted with no problem. If I get the message again I will screen shot it and post.

Thanks, I will pass it along. Weird it won't upload the jgp but it let you upload the png...

Monkey was having trouble with a PDF and getting the same error.

So, something is up and hopefully it can be resolved easily.

4.2MB is pretty big. The size of that jpg is enormous. Typical forum size pics are around 640x480. For reference, the pic I posted above was 1/4 the size of yours.

I posted previously photo's from 3.2 and 3.6 without issues. Maybe you right,I actually clueless about this stuff,not in my line.
