Hey guys, I looking to bookmark some more web sites, so what do you enjoy?

Currently, for motorcycle news I use only 2 sites (I would like to add more):
1) Visor Down's UK site:  http://www.visordown.com/
2) Cycle World's site: https://www.cycleworld.com/

For motorcycle gear reviews: Web Bike World: https://www.webbikeworld.com/

Currently, for general news:
By far the best news site (that I know): BBC News: http://www.bbc.com/news/world
USA Today: https://www.usatoday.com/news/
CNN News: http://www.cnn.com/?hpt=sitenav
Newser: http://www.newser.com/
For Calif. news, LA Times: http://www.latimes.com/
For local news, The Desert Sun: http://www.desertsun.com/home/

For an alternate view point from the American Media, Al Jezerra: http://www.aljazeera.com/

For general business news, Bloomberg: https://www.bloomberg.com/

For new gadgets, New Atlas: https://newatlas.com/

What sites do you enjoy and why? Free is good, but if you pay $$$ to subscribe, the site has to be damn good

Cheers and thanks in advance.  Pat

For international news, I'm much happier reading thoroughly than wasting time with "people behind a desk" videos (I'm talking to you - MSNBC), so;

cbcnews.ca  and theguardian.com  The Guardian is UK and has sections under World to break down global regions of news if you want it.
If someone wants to see any images I refer to in posts, first check my gallery here. If no bueno, send me a PM. More than glad to share.
Current Model: 1990 FJ1200 3CV since 2020

Thanks Charlie, I agree with you 1,000%  I'll watch TV if I want a talking head sound bite video...
.....I want to read. I like background depth and references, something that seems to be missing in today's reporting.

Can't agree more. Can't stand the MSNBC talking heads show "Today Joe".
Much prefer the UK Guardian for the Brits take on all things American.

Ah yes what what, the BBC is a jolly fine news service and rightly deserves your number one ranking.
life without a bike is just life

Worth joining just for "Jo Momma" and "Church, State, and Money".

We're not a club. Clubs have rules. Pay dues. Wear hats and shit.

I used to get a lot of info from this but they went off the air a long time ago.  I think they're called RT now...  :mocking:

Just noticed you asked for news sites, sorry.
Maybe you'll like them anyway.

Pat Conlon

Thanks guys..
Paul....that 3CP1 skit was a hoot. Reminded me of the early days of SNL. Zainey.
John... The garage journal site will prove to be very expensive....all kinds of good stuff in there.
There are several audio/video sites I frequent, also if not careful, can be very expensive.

Me thinks I'm just going to have to go back to work....(not)

Thanks again!

Try out Cyclenews. Since 1965, a great weekly publication.
