JP Cycles / Motorcycle-Superstore.com declared bankruptcy recently and Leather Up thinks it's appropriate to pile on and to capitalize on this as a windfall to get customers switching over to them with disparaging remarks.
I've never heard of even a sole proprietor knocking another small business in the same town in this manner. It's not going over well.

Thanks for the link Charlie.

I was just on the JP Cycles website and considering to buy some Xmas gift certs, which I now will not do.

I have no issue with Leather Up's warning to consumers. In my case, I find it to be a timely (and valid) warning.
I can see where it seems like they are dog piling on a competitors misfortune, however, in this season, there is always a big push to move inventory, and the potential issue on customer service is something to consider.

Cheers

Pat

Charlie, the link you posted has since been taken down it appears.

The bigger issue is the fact, "MAG" who is the parent company owns a whole lot of other companies that are in trouble as well.

Tucker Rocker, Vance & Hines and Renthal to name a few.
