Laser rear fog light

I work the night shift and plan on being a few years before I change to a day shift position. I go to work in the dark and get home from work in the dark. Another forum member showed me this laser fog light and actually gave me a spare one that he had. I figured to give it a try. It comes with 2 lenses. One makes a solid line the other makes multiple dots. I like the dots.

There are a variety of "ground painting" laser units available now.  I saw a video of one for bicycles that painted a convincing "bikes only" lane on the ground alongside and behind a bike.  Most drivers would yield to such a display, not knowing if it was fake.  I like the basic idea, but in the rain, it may become a dazzle-hazard to other drivers.
